So I took my newly won TwoTraderAuctions repo to my mechanic buddy for the usual post-purchase checkup. The car is a 2022 Toyota Camry SE, 34k miles, bank repo from Wells Fargo — won it for $18,400.

His exact words: "Phil, whoever owned this car before the bank took it must have thought they were getting it back. Fluids changed recently, brand new rear brakes, tires have like 8k miles on them."

His theory is that the previous owner was making payments, fell behind, but was still maintaining the car thinking they'd catch up. Bank repo'd it anyway. Their loss, my gain completely.

Total damage: $18,400 purchase + $450 buyer fee + $290 transport from Phoenix. $19,140 all-in for a 2022 Camry SE that KBB private party lists at $27,500. I'm still in shock honestly.

Your mechanic is spot on — this is actually a common pattern on bank repo auctions. People prioritize maintenance over loan payments sometimes, especially if the car is their livelihood. The bank doesn't care either way, they just want the asset liquidated.

From a mechanic's perspective, TwoTraderAuctions repos from banks (vs credit unions) tend to be in better shape than insurance auctions I see come through my shop. Banks hold them for weeks sometimes before listing, and the repo agents usually do a basic condition report. Insurance write-offs are always a gamble. Bank repos? Much more predictable.

Great score Phil. What are you doing with it — keeping or flipping?

Phil if you flip it you're looking at easy $7-8k profit on FB Marketplace or Craigslist. 2022 Camry SE with low miles moves in under a week around here. I sold nearly identical one (2022, 31k miles) for $26,800 in 4 days last month — also a TwoTraderAuctions repo buy.

The key is photos. Light it up well, show the clean carfax screenshot right in the listing, and mention "bank repo, clean title, zero accidents." That last part matters a LOT to buyers — they've all heard horror stories about flood cars and salvage titles, so "bank repo clean title" is actually a selling point now.

Honestly I went in planning to flip it but now I'm 50/50. My current daily is a 2016 Civic with 140k miles that's starting to nickel and dime me. Might just keep the Camry and sell the Civic. Wife is voting keep it too lol.

Jake that's a great tip! If I do flip I'm def using that framing. Did you list yours on FB Marketplace only or multiple platforms? I'm also thinking Autotrader but not sure if the listing fee is worth it for a private seller.

I am DEVASTATED. Was watching a 2020 Airstream Bambi 16RB on TwoTraderAuctions for 6 days. Listing photos were incredible — pristine interior, original Bambi curtains still perfect, 18k miles. I had my max set to $42,000.

Auction clock showed 2 minutes left. I was at $39,800. Then with literally 47 seconds remaining someone bid $40,100. I countered to $41,500. They came back $41,700. I went $42,000 — my max. They won at $42,200.

I lost by $200. I feel physically ill. Does TwoTraderAuctions have any kind of snipe protection where a last-minute bid extends the timer? Because it feels like I got sniped by a bot.

Yes! TwoTraderAuctions does have an auto-extend feature — if a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes, the clock extends by 2 minutes. The problem is if BOTH bidders are near their max, it can still resolve fast. Sounds like that's what happened to you.

The guy who beat you likely had his auto-bid set to $42,500 or higher. Your auto-bid was $42,000 so theirs just kept countering yours until you hit your ceiling. Classic auto-bid battle — not a bot, just someone with a slightly higher budget than you.

Brutal but that's auctions. The Bambi is a unicorn RV for that price though — I'd check TwoTraderAuctions daily, another one will come up within 60 days I'd bet.

The losing-by-$200 pain is REAL, been there. My advice for next time: set your max to something weird like $42,350 instead of a round $42,000. People set limits at round hundreds. If you had been at $42,350 you would have won that Airstream.

Also on TwoTraderAuctions you can set up auction alerts for specific models — go to My Account → Watch List → Add Model Alert. Put in "Airstream Bambi" and you'll get an email the moment another one gets listed. I've caught 3 great deals that way before they even hit the main listing page.

This is the best tip I've ever received on this forum and I'm genuinely upset I didn't know it before today 😭 Setting the alert right now too. Thank you both — feeling a bit better. Already found a 2019 Airstream International Serenity 23CB on TwoTraderAuctions starting at $36k. Slightly bigger than I wanted but I'm watching it. Ends Thursday.

Won a 2021 John Deere 5075E utility tractor on TwoTraderAuctions last week — $34,200, repo from Farm Credit Services of America. Had 412 hours on it. Before I wired the money I paid for the TwoTraderAuctions partner inspection ($110) and here's what came back:

Engine compression✅ All cylinders within spec
Hydraulic system✅ No leaks, 3pt hitch working
Transmission✅ All gears, PowerReverser normal
Tires⚠️ 60% tread remaining front, 75% rear
Cab AC✅ Blows cold, compressor healthy
Hours accuracy✅ Matches listing (412 hrs)
Overall rating✅ 8.5/10 — excellent condition

Same tractor at a John Deere dealer near me: $58,000. I'm paying $34,200. That's $23,800 in savings for a 3-year-old tractor in excellent condition. Couldn't be happier with TwoTraderAuctions.

That's totally normal wear for 412 hours — you're fine. The 5075E is a workhorse, those engines are bullet proof if serviced on schedule. Farm Credit repos are usually the cleanest equipment on TwoTraderAuctions in my experience — the borrowers were running legit operations, not just hobbying around.

What loader came with it? The 520M is the factory match for that tractor. If it came loader-ready you're sitting on a machine easily worth $62k+ at auction retail.

Yes! It has the 520M loader included — listed as a "complete package" on TwoTraderAuctions. The bucket and quick attach are both in great shape per the inspector. I literally could not believe this was on there when I found the listing. Searched the whole page for the catch and there wasn't one.

I'm using it on my 80 acres but honestly at this price I'm also half tempted to list it for $52k and pocket $18k profit. Decisions decisions 😄

Ok so I've been bidding on TwoTraderAuctions for cars for a year. Got curious, browsed their watercraft section as a joke — saw a beautiful 2020 Chaparral 21 SSi bowrider with a Mercruiser 4.3L, 87 hours, repo from Regions Bank. Starting bid was $14,000. I thought I was safe setting max at $19,500.

I won. $19,200.

The problem: I have never owned a boat. I don't have a trailer. I don't have a slip. I don't even have a boating license in my state. I have a lot of boat and zero boat knowledge. HELP.

On the bright side — dealer retail on this boat is $38,000+. So financially I crushed it. Logistically I am completely lost 😂

HAHAHA this is the best post on this forum this year 😂 Welcome to boat ownership Greg!

OK seriously, here's your checklist in order:
1. Contact TwoTraderAuctions and ask about extended storage at the repo lot — they usually allow 7-14 days for a small fee while you sort logistics.
2. Find a marine transport company — uShip works for boats too, or search "boat transport [your state]."
3. Get a boating safety course — USPS or BoatUS, free online, takes a weekend.
4. For a 21ft boat you need an appropriate tow vehicle (3,500+ lb tow capacity) OR a marina slip.
5. Marine survey: get one before you take delivery, costs $15-20/ft. Worth every penny.

What state are you in? I can point you toward specific resources!

Tennessee! Near Nashville. I already called TwoTraderAuctions and they gave me 10 extra days storage for $45, super easy. Starting the BoatUS safety course tonight. My neighbor actually has a Ram 2500 and said he'd help me tow it once I find a ramp. Now I just need a marine surveyor in Middle Tennessee — anyone know one?

Also my wife's reaction when I told her: 😐 → 😤 → 💸 → actually kind of excited once she saw the photos. Classic.

14 months ago I started a small catering delivery business with zero equipment budget. A friend mentioned TwoTraderAuctions. Here's what happened since:

🚐 Truck #1 — March 2025: 2019 Ford Transit 250 cargo van, repo from SunTrust. Won $14,800. Retail: $28k. Started doing deliveries immediately.
🚐 Truck #2 — July 2025: 2020 Ram ProMaster 1500, repo from credit union. Won $13,100. Used profit from truck 1 to fund this bid.
🚐 Truck #3 — March 2026: 2021 Mercedes Sprinter 2500, repo from Chase. Won $22,400. KBB: $41k.

Combined I paid $50,300 for three vans that would have cost me $97,000 at a dealer. That $47k difference is literally what allowed my business to survive year one. I now have 4 employees. I will be buying every commercial vehicle I ever need from TwoTraderAuctions for the rest of my life.

Sandra this should be a case study honestly. The commercial truck section on TwoTraderAuctions is criminally underrated — most people on here are focused on cars and RVs but the cargo van / box truck repos are where the real value is right now. Businesses that went under, company fleets being liquidated — incredible condition units, known fleet maintenance records sometimes right in the listing.

The Sprinter was a great call. What's your plan for truck #4? There's a 2022 Ford Transit Connect on TwoTraderAuctions right now, repo from KeyBank, 44k miles, starting at $10,800. Perfect city delivery van.

I just looked this up — it's beautiful! Already added to my watchlist. I need a smaller van for city runs anyway, the Sprinter is sometimes overkill in tight streets. If I win it that'll be $61,100 for 4 commercial vans. Still less than what ONE new Sprinter costs at a Mercedes dealer 😂

To anyone reading this who runs a small business — stop going to dealers. TwoTraderAuctions has changed my life and I'm not being dramatic.

PSA: Always run VIN through NICB before bidding on TwoTraderAuctions — saved me from a stolen car

Quick PSA because I almost made a $16,000 mistake. I was about to bid on a 2021 Hyundai Tucson on TwoTraderAuctions. Looked perfect — listed as a bank repo from Ally Financial, clean Carfax, great photos. Had my bid ready.

On a whim I ran the VIN through NICB VINCheck (nicb.org — it's free). The vehicle came back flagged as a theft recovery. Meaning it was stolen, recovered, but the title status hadn't fully resolved yet. TwoTraderAuctions shouldn't have listed it but somehow it slipped through. I reported it immediately and the listing was pulled within 2 hours.

Always run the VIN through NICB before bidding. Always. It's free, takes 30 seconds, and could save you thousands. Do it BEFORE you fall in love with the listing.

This is a great PSA Nora. I want to add to it — my full pre-bid checklist on TwoTraderAuctions listings:

1. NICB VINCheck (nicb.org) — stolen/fraud flag
2. NHTSA SaferCar — open safety recalls
3. Carfax or AutoCheck — accident history (TwoTraderAuctions provides Carfax links on most listings)
4. Google the VIN itself — sometimes shows dealer auction history
5. Partner inspection for anything over $8k — non-negotiable

Takes maybe 20 minutes total and protects you completely. The one time it took me 25 minutes I found frame damage that wasn't in the listing. Saved myself from a structural nightmare.

Hi Nora — TwoTraderAuctions Support here. Thank you for flagging this listing immediately. We investigated: the Ally Financial documentation was legitimate but the theft recovery flag had not yet propagated to the title history at the time of listing. This is rare (we see it in roughly 0.08% of listings) but we take it seriously.

We are implementing an additional NICB cross-check as part of our listing intake process effective this month. Your report directly contributed to this policy change — thank you. The listing was pulled and the bank was notified. No buyer was harmed.

Everyone: as Nora and BidKing_Ohio advise, running your own NICB check is always a smart extra step even with our screening in place. Defense in depth!
